Lynne brings excitement, passion, and a great deal of experience to her work with children and families. After years of work in behavioral modification programs, Lynne found a connection with work that focused primarily on attachment. Two organizations in the Albuquerque area guided her along this path, both facilities with creating and healing parent/child relationships as the core of their philosophy. While a therapist for three years at Villa Santa Maria, Lynne received ongoing supervision and support from Daniel A. Hughes, PhD. She then went on to become the Clinical Director of another attachment-based residential treatment center, Namaste Child and Family Development Center. While at these facilities, Lynne was involved with the Association for Treatment and Training in the Attachment of Children (ATTACh) and provided a workshop for their conference about working residentially in this model of care. She has been amazed by the results she has seen from her work and believes strongly in the power of this philosophy and approach to create change |

"The work can be challenging, but it's essential for all involved. Children need to feel loved, to accept care, and to feel safe in relationships in order to grow. The family also needs to heal." There are families in Central Oregon, as there are all over the world, who struggle with attachment disruptions and challenges. They need help to repair or create bonds and to change their perceptions, patterns, and experiences of relationships. This is the work Lynne has brought as a licensed counselor to Central Oregon, and she would love to talk further with you about her style and philosophy of care as well as how it could help your family. She will be honest about the commitment necessary as well as whether it would be a good fit for you and your child.
